Owners act differently than employees, so our goal is that all employees become owners, reinforcing our alignment with clients. Equity ownership is a meaningful component of every employee’s compensation and employees and directors currently hold over 20% * of Westwood stock. This approach aligns the interests of our employees, clients and shareholders.*As of March 2, 2020
We understand the importance of providing an unmatched client experience and extraordinary service to our clients. Collaborating across the organization with a focus on clients is how we’ve helped clients weather some of the most challenging markets in history and why we continue to provide competitive investment returns, excellent client service and value to our shareholders.
We have a long history of community engagement and contributing to build a more sustainable future. We follow a sustainable investment commitment, which is linked to our investment process across our high-conviction equity and outcome-oriented solutions. Sustainability is directly linked to the bottom-up, fundamental assessment of companies and has always been an input to our investment analysis. Our efforts are not only outward facing—we also invest considerable resources to create a healthy and happy workplace for our employees.
We embrace a client-centric approach in everything we do. We have built a distinct corporate culture around renowned basketball Coach John Wooden’s Pyramid of SuccessTM, which is a sustainable roadmap for each individual becoming a better person and for team excellence. The Pyramid guides our values, ethical standards and decision-making processes and distinguishes us from our competition. We believe this commitment has helped lead to our clients’ long-term success.
Westwood offers high-conviction equity and outcome-oriented solutions to institutional investors, private wealth clients and financial intermediaries.
The firm specializes in two distinct investment capabilities: U.S. Value Equity and Multi-Asset, available through separate accounts, the Westwood Funds® family of mutual funds and other pooled vehicles. Westwood benefits from significant, broad-based employee ownership and trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “WHG.” Based in Dallas, Westwood also maintains an office in Houston.
